湖南大学分子科学与生物医学实验室 (MBL)于2010年10月正式成立,由中国科学院谭蔚泓院士任学术带头人,是一个跨院系的新型交叉学科研究机构,实验室主要成员来自化学与化工学院和生物学院,全部核心研究人员均具有海外研究经历。实验室现有中科院院士1人,教授7人,其他科研及管理人员6人,在站博士后13人,师生总人数逾110人。实验室以化学学科为基础,利用化学生物传感与计量学国家重点实验室的研究优势,结合自身在分子科学、材料科学、生物学和纳米技术等领域的研究优势,设计合成新的分子工具,用于分子医学的难点和前沿研究,力求为分子医学和转化医学的更深入发展提供一个革命性的科学研究和技术交流平台。
主要研究方向有化学生物学、生命分析化学、功能材料与纳米科学、分子医学等。具体研究内容包括:发展化学生物传感新方法和新技术,设计和开发新型功能纳米材料和分子探针;开展分子医学的基础和应用研究,实现重大疾病相关生物分子的高灵敏检测及早期诊断;借助生物分析和功能纳米材料的方法和手段,整合分子生物学、基因组学和蛋白质组学的技术,搭建多学科交叉研究平台,寻找对恶性肿瘤的早期诊断、治疗及预后有指导意义的分子标志物和分子靶标;促进基础研究与临床应用的紧密结合,为转化医学和个体化医疗提供革命性的分子工具。
实验室拥有流式细胞仪,DNA合成仪,激光共聚焦显微镜,Zeta电位仪,半制备色谱等一流的生化分析及生物医学研究所需的仪器设备;化学生物传感与计量学国家重点实验室(湖南大学)拥有包括双光子激光共聚焦显微镜、生物点样仪、高分辨生物质谱、生物拉曼成像系统、原子力显微镜等一系列大型专业仪器;生物学院拥有动物房、小动物成像系统、活细胞成像仪等生物医学研究相关仪器设备和平台。实验室力求把自身建成具有国际前沿水平的学术研究平台和技术交流平台,加强化学、生物学、材料学、生物医学等学科的交叉与融合,积极培养高级复合型人才,并推动实验技术与成果的产业化。欢迎具有相关专业知识及立志于化学创新创业做出卓越贡献的研究人员加入MBL。
