The NYU Shanghai Summer Research Program in Molecular Science (SRPMS) is designed to foster entry into chemistry and biology research-centered careers for highly motivated graduates or undergraduates with a strong interest in chemistry, biology, or related scientific disciplines. The primary goal of this program is to extend NYU Shanghai's research opportunities to non-NYU Shanghai students and to enrich the multidisciplinary collaborations in the field of Molecular Science. Admitted students will have the opportunity to actively participate in research projects under the mentorship of a professor who is active at the forefront of his or her field of chemistry and biology. A report summarizing the outcomes of the project is required. Students apply for positions in a roughly 2 to 3 month long program with flexible starting dates.

上海纽约大学分子科学暑期学生科研体验项目（SRPMS）为立志投身化学和生物学领域的研究生及高年级本科生而设，以期待为学生未来的学术发展道路打下良好基础，同时丰富相关领域的多学科合作。该项目对各大高校的学生开放申请，根据学生的专业背景和感兴趣的研究领域来匹配指导教授。入选的学生将由上海纽约大学分子科学领域的教授给予学术指导，并将相对独立地完成一个科研小项目。项目结束时，学生需要提交一份研究总结报告。项目为期两到三个月左右，起始日由学生与教授商议确定。

Applicants must be at graduate (M.Sc. or Ph.D.) level and have strong academic records with courses in chemistry, or biology, or related disciplines. Exceptional undergraduate students may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Applicants must be fluent in English.
